This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Frisco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Frisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

i absolutely love korean food this was my first time ever coming into burning rice my honest opinion? 7/10 i built my own bowl using the kiosk it was really easy to order and my food came out quick!! less than 10 min for sure was the food good? yes but iβm always looking for flavor and i felt like the bulgogi was just MEH! over all it was a lot of food in my opinion. this is a place i would just come when youβre short on time and want a quick meal. $17 for this plate

I ordered a Build Your Own Plate from Burning Rice and while the taste of the food was good, my order was not prepared correctly. I specifically paid extra for corn, but it was completely missing from my bowl. They also forgot to add the zucchini that I selected. These were important items that I was looking forward to, especially since I paid additional charges for one of them. The food itself tasted good, which is why Iβm not giving a lower rating, but accuracy is just as important as taste. If customers are paying for extra ingredients, they should receive them. I hope Burning Rice pays closer attention to order details in the future.

We went there for lunch and had bowls of our own choosing. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, although I am not a fan of ordering from the counter.

The food was very good, we got bibmbap (hot stone bowl) with spicy shrimp, and a beef bulgogi rice bowl, as well as a seafood pancake and another side. The side portions were pretty small for the price. The rice bowls were better, but everything tasted great. They forgot the miso soup and I had to go ask for it. They ask for you to pre-tip when you pay, this is a good example why I hate that practice. But not a huge deal.

If youβre looking for a spot that hits that perfect intersection of healthy and "I-canβt-stop-eating-this," Burning Rice is the move. Itβs one of those rare places where you leave feeling energized rather than needing a nap, but you definitely don't sacrifice any flavor to get there. The name isn't just a catchy titleβitβs the best part of the meal. If you get the Hot Stone Bowl, the rice at the bottom gets that incredible, golden-brown crunch (the "scorched rice") that anchors all the bold Korean BBQ flavors.
